ABSTRACT
 It was very important to evaluate concrete experimentally at elevated temperature because concrete was filled with aggregate of concrete volume about 80 percent. In this study, it conducted a experiment to evaluate mechanical properties of normal weight and light weight concrete of 60 MPa. Based on loading level of 0, 20 and 40 percent, test on compressive strength, elastic modulus, thermal strain, total strain and transient creep to use Ø100 × 200 mm cylinder specimen at elevated temperature. And then it was compare with CEB(Comites euro-international du beton) model code. As a result, thermal strain of light concrete was smaller than normal weight concrete. And compressive strength of light concrete at 700 was more higher value than normal weight concrete and CEB code as well as similar with that of room temperature. Transient creep to develop as under loading was effected to change expansion with shrinkage on strain of concrete. Test result showed that internal force was high when ratio of shrinkage(concrete/aggregate) is more strong than thermal expansion.
