Abstract The Blast furnace slag is a industrial by-products generated steel production process. The disadvantages of blast furnace slag concrete may include retarded setting and elongated retention of mold due to the weak strength of early-age. In this study, we analyze the strength properties of the concrete according to the substitution rate of blast furnace slag. Also, this study has been reviewing the possibility as a concrete admixture by utilizing a stimulus powder of steel slag occurred during the steel production process. As a result, stimulus powder of steel slag is considered to be effective to improve the compressive strength. |
