abstract

In this study, examination and consideration of effects to compression strength and elastic modulus by difference
between cooling method and cooling time were carried out in order to evaluate recovery of mechanical properties of
high strength of high strength concrete to high temperature heating. As a result, under each cooling condition after
heating, intensity recovery effect was verified exceeding 10% of compression strength under high temperature. The
result of evaluation of residual mechanical property was verified that intensity recovery effect was high under
underwater cooling condition. And contact methods between concrete and water affect recovery of mechanical
properties.
