ABSTRACT This study explored the strength and microstructure of soda-lime glass powder (GP) and Ground Granulated Blast furnace Slag (GGBS) composite geopolymer activated in two different alkali solution i.e NaOH and NaOH+Na2SiO3. Based on the results, improvement in strength value and compact microstructure was observed for the samples activate in NaOH+Na2SiO3 solution. However, increased GP (i.e above 30%) leads to the strength loss due the unreactive glass particles. The NaOH samples on the other hand leads to the strength loss and loose matrix. |
